Product & platform engineering
Design and build the backends, APIs, and business workflows behind a new product or the next stage of an existing platform.
Turn a new product or a difficult platform challenge into working software. We combine architecture and hands-on engineering to help your team deliver, integrate, and evolve the systems your business depends on.
Discuss your projectYour product is outgrowing its architecture, an integration is holding up delivery, or a new platform needs a clear technical direction. We help turn those constraints into a practical build plan.
Build complex platforms, connect critical systems, and resolve the architectural constraints that slow your business down.
Design and build the backends, APIs, and business workflows behind a new product or the next stage of an existing platform.
Connect products, providers, and internal systems so information moves reliably and teams can work from consistent data.
Build services and event-driven workflows that support complex operations, with clear ownership and deliberate handling of failures.
Address bottlenecks and difficult dependencies, improve production visibility, and create a manageable path for the next change.
Good architecture fits the business, the workload, and the people who will maintain it. We make tradeoffs explicit, work through the implementation, and give your team the code, documentation, and context to keep moving after the engagement.
The protocol is one decision. Ownership, delivery guarantees, and recovery behavior determine whether the whole workflow holds together.
Build HTTP/REST entry points and gRPC services with Protobuf schemas, generated clients, and shared validation. Define deadlines, cancellation, error semantics, and identity propagation so callers know what to expect.
API contracts, service definitions, and integration coverage
Persist state changes and outbox events together when they must remain consistent. Account for repeated delivery with idempotent consumers, retry policies, and recoverable failures. Use transient notifications to signal work while durable storage retains the source of truth.
Event models, consumer behavior, and recovery procedures
Use server-sent events for live updates, with persisted event cursors and replay where clients need to resume after disconnecting. Coordinate replicas through Redis notifications and enforce tenant boundaries on both live and replayed data.
Stream contracts, cursor semantics, and isolation tests
Validate input and establish caller identity at the API boundary.
Apply business rules and authorization through a typed contract.
Commit the state change and its outbox record together.
Forward committed events, accounting for interrupted delivery.
Decouple processing with explicit retry and failure policies.
Handle duplicate delivery and record downstream progress.
